“In some few years to come this programme is going to be the leading Entertainment program on Radio in the Capital, trust me”, that was how Fred Kyei Mensah of Fredima Studios summed it after the launch of GH Entertainment Show.

Gh-Entertainment is the new program, unveiled at Rainbow Radio International 87.5fm and the host is the seasoned and experience Entertainment show Host, Agyeman Prempeh (Agyemang nie, Rainbow Nie).

What did the trick and would make this programme unique is the international exposure that Rainbow Radio has brought to the scene.

Imagining listeners calling from UK, US, Canada, Germany, Italy and other European countries and it makes you believe in the station’s motto, “Yedi Abrokyire aba Ghana, Edi Ghana Ako Abrokyire”, simply put, ‘Bringing Overseas Down To Ghana and Taking Ghana to Abroad’.

Gh- Entertainment was launched last Saturday, 12 January 2013 and the take –off was solid as they tackled relevant issues in the industry by calling those who were central in an issue to react to the accusations and rumours.

Some guests who graced the occasion were Nii Ayittey Hammond of CharterHouse, Okyeame Quophi of Emklan Entertainment who also hosts Rainbow Radio’s drive time programme, dubbed Away Bus; Fred Kyei Mensah of Fredima Studios, Kofi Yeboah, the Producer and Director of 2face Production, just to mention a few.

Listeners were not left out of the fun as those who called in from both home and abroad were given a code for a free mobile phone and you can envisage what will be happening in the coming Saturdays from 4pm to 6pm.

I will not wait for someone to tell me before I say had I known, therefore I will make it a date and tune in to 87.5fm every Saturday from 4pm to 6pm. Who knows, free visas may be given out.
